Hey folks!

We have babies, milk, cheese, fudge and soap! We are getting into the swing of life and have enjoyed a quiet few weeks. Well, we have not had a birth since February 13th but we have had 10 girls kid from 1/31-2/13 we are milking 14 goats and feeding 15 babies. Feeding time is outrageously intense and I cannot wait for it to get easier. I have allowed a milking machine in my milk room even though I hate the noise but it milks while I milk so it really helps.

Gabby and Zack will be home the weekend of 3/11 and will stay for a while. Zack will stay through the season and Gab will be back in June when school ends. We certainly need the extra hands and we were hoping to get started on garden planning, I have my doubts that the snow will be gone by then!

The cheese kitchen is done and we have a little more construction work before we really get busy. Everyone here is struggling with this weather and the amount of snow we have had. It is almost March and we still have about a foot of packed snow on the ground, ice is everywhere! And cold! Still that cold wind howls. Oh well the days are creeping longer and life will begin again. This week we hope to tap some maple trees and I am getting excited and focussed for our first class soon! Life is good!
